Hello & Welcome ToCamala Foundation Inc

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

In environments where public education systems face structural and resource constraints, lnerable children are at increased risk of educational exclusion, food insecurity, and instability.

When families experience economic hardship or institutional systems are strained, children are ften the first to lose access to consistent schooling.

Camala Foundation works to provide stable, accountable access to education — ensuring ontinuity, dignity, and protection even in uncertain environments.

We do not pursue rapid expansion.
We build responsible systems that protect children long-term.

Our Commitment Mission Statement

At the Camala Foundation, we believe in transforming lives through the power of education. Our mission is to expand access to learning and empower the next generation by removing barriers that keep children and youth from thriving — both in Guinea-Bissau and among West African immigrant communities in the United States.

Through school sponsorships, after-school enrichment, computer labs, arts, sports, and mentorship in Guinea-Bissau, and through scholarships, professional development, and mentorship for West African immigrant students in the U.S., we are building pathways for opportunity, leadership, and hope.

We are guided by collaboration, compassion, and community engagement, and we are committed to creating lasting change — ensuring that every child and young person has the tools to succeed and every community has the foundation for a brighter, more equitable future.

OUR CURRENT IMPACT

Our partner school in Buba serves more than 400 children.

Through a formal Cooperation Agreement, Camala Foundation currently supports a defined cohort of 15 highly vulnerable children within a structured Education Access & Child Protection Program.

These children receive tuition coverage, daily meals, learning materials, and academic monitoring.

Growth occurs only when funding and oversight capacity are secured.

THE FOUNDING 100 CAMPAIGN

Donate & Protect the First 100 Children

The Founding 100 Campaign represents the foundational expansion phase of our Education Access & Child Protection Program.

15 → up to 35 → up to 100

Our goal is to responsibly expand support to up to 100 children by 2028 through phased, ccountable growth.

This campaign concludes when structured capacity to support up to 100 children has been secured and stabilized.
